If music be the food of love, play on!
I love writing music.
I am a composer, arranger, producer, and songwriter. I mash global sounds, rhythms and melodies with synthesis, sampling and loops to create tone poems that connect people through shared stories.

1+1+1 Film Competition (One place, one story, one minute)
I developed and delivered this initiative as a component of Brisbane City Council’s award-winning “Plan Your Brisbane” program (2018). The competition invited Brisbane residents to share stories about their favourite places. With over 1000 participants, this highly successful activity gave Brisbane City Council a unique insight into the values and aspirations of younger residents.
The Babble-On Project
From 2012 to 2014 this monthly series of cabaret performances gave visitors to the State Library of Queensland the opportunity to experience new works by Brisbane artists at the Library Cafe. As the series producer, I negotiated a partnership between the library and the Mantle Group that provided ongoing funding to develop new works, promote the series and pay performers a stipend for their participation.
The Emerge Project
The Emerge Project was a partnership between Switchboard Arts and the Judith Wright Centre with support from the QUT, Creative Arts Faculty. The project linked emerging playwrights with other theatre workers to showcase new works. I joined Emerge as Musical Director in 2006 and was invited onto the Switchboard Arts Board in 2007. From 2006 to 2009 the series produced four plays per year as well as an annual showcase of ten, ten-minute plays.
Memory Box Project
In 2010 I was commissioned by Advanced Breast Cancer Services Queensland to develop a cultural program to relink women with a terminal condition with their lives outside cancer. This program is still running.
Ripples in the Sand
This work used gathered stories to highlight shared cultural values about the beach between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians.
projet.Prevert (Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Art Fresh Ground Program)
I developed and produced this cabaret celebrating the poetry of Jacques Prevert with theatre director Freddy Komp. The work was staged as part of the 2012 Brisbane Cabaret Festival.
